Chase has to go back to Utah tomorrow to renew his visa and earn some money so he can come back again, so we spent his last day browsing the shops and being 'silly' in the charity shops with costumes. It was a perfect day, I love Chase. I wish he didn't have to leave me :( but i'm spending Christmas in Utah this year, so i'll get to meet his friends and family which is very exciting! As always we took lots of pics, Chichester is beautiful. (and so is Chase) :D

A lovely double & 'Redemption'
We finally got to hang out with the newlyweds! Our good friends Erich and Lisa got married over in the states this past summer, then travelled to Switzerland for their reception so we only just got to meet up and catch up. Lisa cooked a really brave, adventurous dinner.. success! Lisa and Erich have had the longest story with the happiest ending. Roughly 9 years of online dating, occasional visits and long distance and he finally manned up and put a ring on it! So happy for them :) It was a great night.
This year Poole stake celebrated 30 years of having big enough membership to become it's own stake. To commemorate, the stake presidency wanted to run a show that linked remembrance weekend and involved all the talent we have in the stake. The show was a love story between a 1920s couple, the man signed up for war and never came home. It was beautifully done, and focussed on the importance of the temples power to seal families for all eternity. A powerful missionary tool which also got tears from all the members too. Chase was in the show playing the doctor, and lots of our friends were involved. Music was beautiful, scenery and war scenes were incredible, it was so well done. I took the whole family and went on both nights to support my man, and was so impressed. Made me really appreciate the temple and reflect on how lucky we are to have the knowledge that we do about life after death and how we know we will see our loved ones again. Amazing. Happy birthday Poole stake!
